    rustic cabin
    cozy getaway
    noise distraction

Rustic cabins right on the river's edge provide a nice, cozy getaway, especially hearing the sounds of the flowing water nearby. Clean accommodations with basic furnishings.

Cabins felt too close together. Especially noticeable when wanting to relax outdoors. Missed some essential amenities like dish soap and more utensils for cooking. The lack of Wi-Fi was a big setback for planning activities. An uncomfortable amount of noise from a nearby train shook the cabins a few times during the night.

Large and affordable breakfast for every taste. Beautiful and reasonably large room, had a nice stay for the long weekend in August. Easy to get to, gorgeous location adjacent to the fast flowing river, mountains and rivers, and the worst laid out restaurant. Also, in a neighborhood where there was a leak.

    charming cabin
    lack of privacy
    missing amenities

Charming cabin with great access to nature.

I found the cabins closer together than expected, which impacted our privacy significantly . Even basic amenities like a lighter for the firepit were missing. There were not enough utensils, such as kid-friendly options, made meal prep inconvenient.

    well-stocked kitchen
    lack of privacy

The Fisherman's Cottage was cute, with a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of games for family entertainment.

The cabins felt a bit too close together, impacting our privacy, a disappointment .

My stay was perfect for the long weekend in August. The hotel was in an unbeatable location near to local activities : kite surfing in Howe sound and a river running right nearby. Besides, Stump Lake was 6 km away from the property.

    newly refurbished cabin
    delicious breakfast
    cozy atmosphere
    close proximity cabins

I had an very nice two-night stay in a newly refurbished cabin, enjoying cozy mornings with delicious breakfast at the cafe while listening to the river nearby. The only downside? The cabins are quite close together, which affected privacy a bit.

    peaceful river
    cozy atmosphere
    modern kitchenette
    thin curtains

Staying at the Beautiful Cabin at River Side was a treat. The peaceful backdrop of the river was like a comforting lullaby. The cabin had a cozy atmosphere, with modern Nordic touches. I really appreciated the kitchenette equipped with all necessary cookware and utensils. The dining area was perfect for enjoying breakfast, especially with the café nearby offering some of the best brunch I've had-the eggs benedict were a standout! I did notice the curtains could be thicker for better sleep quality, as the early morning light creeped in. A kettle would have been great for tea, especially given the setting. Despite these minor inconveniences, the charm of the cabin and the serene nature surrounding it were nice.

    peaceful retreat
    homemade organic options
    cramped bed
    loud fridge
    thin curtains

The mini escape was tranquil, surrounded by nature with the soothing sounds of the river. Comfy beds and a kitchenette, and the picnic area was a lovely touch for meals outdoors. The double bed felt cramped for two adults, and the loud bar fridge detracted from the peaceful ambiance. Thin curtains allowed too much light in, affecting our sleep. Fergie's Cafe had a good menu with homemade organic options.
